The simple answer to that is ‘Yes’.

And you can stick all three laughing emojis up your anus.

Re: Fornals
So fornals “inch perfect pass” that Antonio had to bust a gut to get to and then hook it back over his head to keep it in play. You honestly think he knew that would happen like that 😂😂😂

Clueless.

Re: Fornals
The pass from Fornals had to be inch perfect, and it was - and he clearly meant it. To do that, in that limited space, on that wet surface, was pure technique. I truly can’t believe anyone thinks otherwise.

He’s the most underrated player in our squad by an absolute landslide. He will start to score more goals too. He’s getting into the right positions and will start to take the chances. His work rate is unreal.

Re: Fornals
Too early to tell whether the pass was intended to work out like it did.

A few more similar moves will reveal that.

*do it again. And again. And again. Please*

Re: Fornals
With a bit more confidence in front of goal he would be a superstar. Hard work rate, decent passing, seems to get himself in a few good positions. Seems to be wary of having a pop at goal though.

Re: Fornals
I agree with vexed. I think it was a bit of an aimless wasteful pass that Antonio done well to recover.

But he has improved and he’s worth his place in the team at the moment.

Side of Ham: thanks...yes, maybe.
I think Fornals is a perfect example of the current clicking of the team. He’s an essential component now that just appears to fit with the others. Tuesday’s spirited performance reminded me of the Leeds game: energy, determination and slick movement and understanding. I can’t remember a team since the Brooking era that had this. Fornals is certainly playing his part in this.

Showing good improvement ...

A few goals would be good...

Been playing really well but needs to get his shooting boots on.

Re: Fornals
LAF, i think everyone was getting excited by his performances in a major youth tournament for Spain....don't know if that is correct though.

Re: Fornals
When Fornals arrived the impression was that we were bringing in a creative, flair player. Although this is not completely untrue, his game is mainly about energy and being more box to box. Perhaps this was the reason for criticisms early on. Where did this misconception originate?

Re: Fornals
Funny how people get a bit sensitive when people don't agree with them. Just an opinion. Surely getting upset over something like this is the true measure of how simple someone is?

What say you Block?

Based on last night or the Doncaster game, nobody in a west ham shirt has had a bad game.

Imagine saying that even just a year ago

Spot on, the only times I saw him comment on the match thread was when Benrahma lost the ball..

Re: Fornals
Some people just paint themselves into a corner on certain players. They then feel they can never give them any credit and are quick to jump on to comment when they make a mistake. Fornals has had a lot of vocal detractors like that on here. Benrahma has a few also. Always gonna happen, football fans can be thick as fuck sometimes.

Re: Fornals
COYI

'Benrahma is currently benefiting from the fact that we have a wafer thin squad with washed up has beens like Lanzini and Yarmolenko on the bench'

Yet when he wanted to give Lanzini a go did he replace Benrahma, nope it was Fornals who made way which disproves that theory.

He can't do anymore than create chances, put one on a plate for Antonio who missed it or he would have had an assist..

Re: Fornals
Block, I think Vexty just don't like certain individuals getting the credit, as in Fornals case, there is one for his misses, BUT, like I said further down I like having these midfielders ghosting in and having these chances in the first place better.

That equaliser was a great team effort, as we now have a balance where left or right have little triangles of play to then create a chance anywhere inside the box.....it's fucking excellent.

Come On You Irons 2:50 Wed Jan 27

Did you not notice the amount of work he did, the number of times he won the ball back and began our attacks. He was excellent last night, top class, hard working performance. You are clearly watching the game looking for the guy to fail.

Re: Fornals
It was a little too close to the byline and arrived a little too rapidly BUT it was a good ball for Antonio who does his best work on instinct not form and design it took 3 (THREE) defenders out of the game.

It showed vision and when married up with endeavour it created a very good goal.

SOH - It's nigh on impossible to talk sense to someone as thick as Vexed, mate.

He's a simpleton.
